Nurses Ministry
The Role of the Church Nurse
The Nurses Ministry is concerned with the prevention and cure of disease as related to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Aid commences with the steadying effect upon the stricken person when the person realizes competent hands will help them. Therefore, first aid is more than just a dressing or a splint. Aid relates to the victim's mind and spirit, as well as physical injuries. Its contributions include the well-selected word of encouragement, the expressions of willingness to help, and the uplifting effects of your evident capability.
The Church Nurses are committed to providing services to the Pastor.
Nurses must be willing to:
Receive, follow and implement instruction, remembering that the Pastor has the final word.
Be ready to serve at all times
Be loyal and dependable
Exercise good judgment
Maintain the confidentiality of church members
